As I was driving home today, I noticed someone giving a boost to another person, so their cars were nose-to-nose. It looked like the cars were kissing! I know, my astute observational skills are amazing. Ahahaha, but honestly, that's what I thought when I saw them: The cars are kissing.
And The Incredibles was soooooooooooo funny! I don't know why my sister didn't like it. Weirdo, ehehehehe.
Tomorrow is Grandma's-flying-in Day! That's right, stay tuned for more exciting stories. She was here last year around this time, and I love love love her to death and all her amazing stories, but could do without her assumptions about people. The funniest example from last year is her observation that, "When black people in L.A. ask you for change, they really just want to rob you." or something like that. Gah, excuse my grandmother's stereotypes, but HONESTLY, what kind of insane thing is that to say?!
But I love my grandma, and I'm so excited to talk to her. Her faith is amazing. She prays before every meal, prays all the time, tells amazing stories about her childhood and just generally encourages me in my faith. I know I'm where I'm at today because of my grandmother's prayers. She's an amazing woman!
AND I LOVE the airport. I love when people arrive off the plane, and there are people waiting for them at the arrivals, and there are just huge bunches of happy reunions! There's nothing better than coming home or getting to somewhere where people love you. Absence really does make the heart grow fonder.
